Wonderful flavor and moist!!!
I admit I do not cook roasts often so I am clueless. But I decided to try a Boston roast in the crock pot -- here's what I did. 8 oz beef bone broth (I had nothing else in pantry), large white onion chopped, cup of chopped mushrooms (from Logan of course). I did cut the fat layer back by half, scored the fat, rubbed Penzey Revolution spice in. Cook on high for about 3 hours and then 3 more on slow. Oh my! Delicious flavor, moist meat. Everyone RAVED about it. Thank goodness the roast and shrooms made up for my lack of cooking experience!
